WHO WE ARE

Our Foundation

PEMAKADE MECHO is an acronym for: Peter Masembe and Kathryn Deitchman Memorial Charitable Organization. It is a non-profit making organization that is faith-based and with no government affiliation.  PEMAKADE MECHO was established for charitable, health, holistic human development, educational, and scientific purposes for God’s people living in poverty. First of all, it has constructed a health centre at Kasambya-Lukese community village with all major funding, kindly offered from CAFRICO Inc.

Our Mission

PEMAKADE MECHO is a non-profit making and a non-government organization instituted to bring health and human development services closer to God’s people of Kasambya-Lukese village and beyond by using a holistic model that echoes Jesus’ healing ministry:

“have life – life in all its fullness” (John 10: 10).

PEMAKADE MECHO’s First Health Centre

Based on very humble beginnings, Rev. Joseph Kabali started in January 2007 to construct the clinic together with his co-founders. Namely: Mr. Sperito Kibunga, Mr. Lawrence Ssepuya, Mr. John Deitchman and his wife Mrs. Linda Deitchman.  They started the construction of the health centre in loving memory of their relatives who have died so that they could better remember their deceased within a context of improving other people’s lives.

The first construction of this organization is a health centre that is located in an area inhabited by a total population of about 8,800 – almost all of them with very limited resources.  Ever since the clinic was inaugurated on June 12th, 2010, the number of people who seek medical services from the Organization’s health centre is progressively increasing.
